UCI Circle K
@thefirebender and @trianadear could not have been more right about how amazing it is. Anyone who knows me in real life knows just how much I loved Key Club in high school, and how much I missed it during the summer. Going to CKI’s first general meeting on Tuesday evening made me feel back in my element for the first time in months. Although I have felt so comfortable at UCI, now I feel at home. This afternoon, I went to my first service event with CKI [also my first event since June]. I had completely forgotten about the event until @adriontap called to ask if I was at the flagpoles already. I rushed to the meeting spot and didn’t get a chance to grab lunch with my hall mates >.< Not gonna lie, I totally look up to the board members ROFL It’s nice being a freshman again, because I have so many inspiring people that I see as role models.
As for the service aspect, well, anyone who serves their community on a regular basis knows how rewarding it is. Being at service events just feels…right. I’m planning on helping at Relay For Life on Saturday as well.
Oh, and one of the board members called me sociable LMAOOO Maybe college is changing me for the better after all :D
